I was at the recent Magic Millions Gold  Coast Sale and viewed plenty of yearlings with Shane, who inspected every horse on the grounds. This colt results from the hard work you have to put in at a sale. It is so important to see each individual yearling when completing inspections so that you can find these little diamonds in the rough.

Hellbent is a sire Shane and I know well. We currently have 3yo filly Hell Follows and a small interest in 2yo colt Jehbenti in the SNR stable. Both horses will be back at the trials in three weeks.

I am confident that Jehebenti will make this horse seem like great value when he debuts. He was purchased at the same sale 12 months ago and Shane has a real opinion of him. He will have an official trial February 6.

He was on track to be sent to Queensland to try and qualify for the $2 million Magic Millions 2yo Classic before just feeling his shins a little. This is very common in young horses as they continue to grow. As a result, he had a short break and will be on a path to high-class 2yo races in the Autumn.

He has had two Jump Outs, winning one and finishing a nose second to a very experienced city horse in his other.

 

This colt is an excellent type and was a brilliant mover.

This colt is from a 2yo-winning Stakes performed mare, who is also a half-sister to multiple stakes winner TESTAMEZZO.

He will also be paid up for the Super Vobis scheme, which is a massive advantage when racing in Victoria. The Vobis bonuses continue to increase, and there is so much prize money on offer when running in Victoria now.

The Magic Millions continue to increase prize money for their feature race day. This colt will be eligible to race on the lucrative race day next year and beyond. Additionally, in 2025 Magic Millions will hold a Friday night race meeting with $20 million on offer across 24 hours of racing.
